I had an awesome fifth grade teacher! She was SOOO funny. She shared her personal feelings and problems with us. I had never had a teacher do that before. Like, we would be in the middle of a math lesson, and she would stop the lesson and tell us something like, “My dog peed on my son’s bed last night!” because somehow the subject came up. Isn’t that awesome?! My teacher would also make a great therapist. She helped us when we had a problem. When I started crying at the beginning of the year about my horse who had just recently died, she asked me what was wrong. See, she didn’t just pretend she didn’t see me, she cared. She also helped me get through a time when there was a rumor going around about me. She got all the way to who started it. There were tons of people who had heard it from somebody else. My ex-best friend MP had started the rumor. Anyway, I started e-mailing her. She e-mailed me back. We just kept e-mailing and e-mailing. Then, like a week ago, I sent her the first page of my very long, 16 page story, The Land of Arten. she hasn’t e-mailed me since. In case you’re wondering, she wanted me to e-mail her the story in the first place! I think she’s on vacation, but I’m a little worried. What should I do? Should I keep e-mailing her, or leave her alone?
