Artistic/trashy:
Definitely artistic. Just like some of the stuff on Deviant Art, that kind of thing is very artistic. I love the way her face looks, and the wind in her hair with the lipstick really matches her pale complexion. I love the way she shows her back, and shoulders. Very neat.
B-But she’s TOPLESS:
How do you know? We have prom dresses, bathing suits, fancy/casual dresses, and langerie models that wear clothing that shows more skin than that! And Playboy models? Durr! And what’s so wrong with it? She’s fifteen, a girl, and likes to think she’s sexy.
She’s supposed to be a role model to our children:
So, you depend on a Disney star to be a role model for a little kid? Don’t you think YOU should be telling them how NOT to do things like they do? And if they liked Miley, and are disappointed at the pictures, they should really just accept the fact that, again, she’s fifteen, and female! I have had several bands where I have lost interest learning their backgrounds. Eh, make that A LOT of bands. I know that Disney stars are supposed to have ‘perfect lives’ with happiness and fame surrounding them. Actually, I have read several things that said Vanessa Hudgens did that JUST TO GET AWAY from Disney Channel.
What about those pictures with her dad that make her look like a lover more than a daughter:
Shrug it off. So she took a couple of pictures that made her look a little ’strange’ with her father. All of you with COMMON SENSE know that it’s not supposed to look trashy. Or do you all have dirty little minds? =)

Well said for a girl your age. You are wise beyond your years.
Unfortunately, there are many kids who look up to Miley regardless of what their parents tell them about who their role models should be. Luckily, BabySnaps isn’t one of those kids. She’s more into her sports than Hannah Montana. However, she still had her own opinion on the picture. She thinks Miley is too young to be acting all sexy just yet.
As a mom…I do, too.
Unfortunatley being in the media really highlights Miley’s trip into adulthood. Yes, she is only fifteen. But MOST fifteen year old’s do stupid things, take less than modest pictures, make dumb videos (and post them on youtube), and make friends with the wrong people. But for them, it doesn’t end up in the media. No one (besides possibly thier parents) gets involved.
Miley is 15 years old. Everybody needs to cut her a break. I did stupid things when I was 15. Oh wait, I’m almost 20, and I still do stupid things.
I’ll have to agree with Ginger about some stubborn kids.

People are getting obsessed with a 15-year-old naked back. Big Deal! I’m surprised they aren’t more upset that she joined Reverend Loveshade’s Discordian group. Discordia is a Goddess! But her joining a fun group doesn’t mean she’s not Christian, and showing her back in a photo doesn’t either.
First of all Vanity Fair is not a trash magazine, it’s a very conservative and top notch magazine.
Second of all, why are all you people thinking that this kind of nudity in young teens just started…Look at Brook Shields, she did a couple movies and several pictures that were more revealing than the Miley pictures and she still turned out to be a lovely young lady and a beautiful woman with a great deal of class.
